Make Your Own Halloween Cups with Coasters

Entertain your guests with these fun and scary cups and coasters. Decorate your cup to match the coaster or mix up the fun. Add beverage of your choice and scare your guests with every sip. To complete this table setting, see the place setting project for scary utensils and place mats.

Spider Drinking Cup

Steps:

Twist 8 pipe cleaners together from the middle.

Glue or tape the twisted middle to the back of the cup.

Bend and shape the pipe cleaners into the legs of the spider.

On the front of the cup, glue 2 google eyes on.

Cut out fang teeth and glue on the front of the cup.

Fill cup with drink of your choice and set it on the Spider Web Coaster.

Frankenstein Drinking Cup

Steps:

Glue 2 small pom poms on the cup for eyes.

Cut 2 strips of black pipe cleaner and glue one above the eyes for eyebrows and one below the eyes for a mouth.

Cut the cork in half and glue one piece to each side of the cup.

Using the black marker, draw a scar on one side of the cup.

Devil Drinking Cup

Steps:

Glue 2 google eyes onto the pom poms and them glue them to the front of the cup.

Cut a small part of the pipe cleaner and bend it up and down twice.

Glue this on the front for the mouth. Glue one devil horn to each side of the cup.

Ghost Drinking Cup

Steps:

Glue the pom poms to the front of the cup for eyes.

Unfold the napkin and cut a small hole in the center.

Slip the napkin under the cup so most of the top of the cup is sticking out.

Fold the hole of the napkin over a little and glue to cup.

Spider Web Coaster

Steps:

Draw a spider web shape with the pencil on the poster board and cut out.

Using the glue, draw the lines of the spider web from one point to the other.

Sprinkle the glitter onto the glue.

Let dry.

Using the hole puncher, cut out a hole on the longest point of the poster board.

Tie one end of the string through the hole and the other to the spider ring.

Pumpkin Coaster

Steps:

Cut out the small inner circle of an orange plate.

Draw a fun Halloween face on the front.

Trace the face with the glue.

Add glitter.

Cut out a small square from the outer circle of the plate.

Color the white side green.

Glue the square to the top of the pumpkin plate for a stem.

Cut a small piece of the pipe cleaner and wrap around the crayon or marker.

Pull the pipe cleaner off, so it now looks like a squiggle.

Glue the pipe cleaner to the base of the stem.

Set any cup on this fun coaster to complete the setting.

Ghost Coaster

Steps:

Draw a ghost shape with the pencil on the paper and cut out.

Dab the glue to make two round eyes on the face and add glitter.

Trace the shape of the ghost with the glue and add glitter.

Set any cup onto this scary coaster to complete the setting.

Small orange paper or plastic plate-back side needs to be white.
White construction paper or poster board

Cork from a bottle
Small devil horns
Single hole puncher
Black string or thread
* Children should not handle scissors.
