Make Your Own Halloween Place Setting

Set your Halloween table with these scary placesettings. Halloween placesettings create the perfect spooky atmosphere to dinnertime. Complete the ensemble with Halloween cups and coasters. Mix and match for fun and fright. Get creative with your placesettings. These are perfect for a murder mystery or haunted house themed party.

Haunted House Place Mat

Steps:

Draw a house shape on the poster board with the pencil and cut out.

Draw windows and doors with the white chalk.

Add googlie eyes in some of the windows.

Add glue in a zig zag line on some of the windows and add glitter to make it look like the windows are broken.

Cut small pieces of the pipe cleaners and glue to the front of the house for stairs.

Draw bats and pumpkins any kind of spooky decorations on the house.

Spider Web Place Mat

Steps:

Draw a spider web shape with a pencil on the poster board and cut out.

Using the glue, draw the lines of the spider web from one point to the other.

Sprinkle the glitter onto the glue.

Let dry.

Using the hole puncher, cut out a hole on the longest point.

Tie one end of the string through the hole and the other to the spider ring.

Set orange and black plates on top for dinner.

Bat Place Mat

Steps:

Using a pencil, draw a bat on the poster board and cut out.

Glue googlie eyes onto the bat head.

Glue 2 black pom poms onto the head for the ears.

Cut out 2 teeth for fangs out of the white construction paper.

Glue them on the bat head for fangs.

With the glue trace lines around the edges of the bat wings and sprinkle the glitter on.

Let dry and set orange and black plates on top for dinner.

Napkin Ring

Steps:

Unfold the napkin all the way.

Place the plastic eyeball in the middle of the napkin and pinch napkin under it.

Twist napkin.

Tie a piece of the Halloween wire around the twisted part.

Place next to placemat.

Watch guests scream in horror as they unfold the napkin!

Utensil Holder

Steps:

Slip the fork and knife through the spider ring.

If they do not fit, cut the back of the ring part and clasp ring over them.

Set onto placemat to the right of the dinner plates.

Guests can wear the ring after using the utensils!

Black string or thread

Single hole puncher
Small black pom poms
plastic eyeball
1 plastic spider ring
* Children should not handle scissors.
