Worms in the Dirt - a Halloween Dessert!

Kids will love this creepy crawly Halloween confection. Parents, you'll love that there's no baking involved! Encourage your kids to get creative on this ghastly good treat; our ingredients are merely a starting point. Steps:

Crush several chocolate cookies using a rolling pan.

In a small bowl combine crushed cookies, chocolate pudding, and chocolate jimmies. Set aside.

In a separate small bowl, combine butterscotch pudding and chocolate jimmies. Set aside.

In another small bowl, add 3-4 drops of green food coloring to a handful of shredded coconut, and mix. Add more food coloring for greener grass!

Sprinkle a layer of chocolate jimmies on bottom of cup.

Layer several gummy worms on top of this.

Add a layer of butterscotch/jimmies mixture.

Layer more gummy worms over this.

Add layer of chocolate pudding mixture.

Layer gummy worms.

Continue this pattern until you reach the top of your cup.

Sprinkle coconut "grass" as a top layer to your creation.

Add candy corn pumpkins, jimmies, and a few escaping gummy worms to finish.
