A large pinata shaped like an egg
Create your own Easter Egg Piñata:
For some real Easter FUN, make your own egg-shaped pinata! Hang it from a tree and watch your friends try to knock it down. This project is especially FUN because once you finish making it, you can eat what’s inside!
Steps:
Cover the floor with newspaper around the area where you will be working.

Mix the flour into the water.

Blow the balloon up to the size you want.

Cut out strips of the tissue paper and dip into paste.

Stick 3 layers of tissue paper onto balloon to act as a base for your piñata. (do not cover the very bottom of balloon where the knot is).

Once the balloon has completely dried (overnight), add stickers, glitter and tissue paper shapes to the balloon to make your design.

Decorate both sides and top of the balloon (do not decorate the very bottom of balloon where the knot is).

Once your decorations are dried, pop the knotted part of the balloon.

Your Easter Egg piñata should be the shell of the balloon.

Fill the Egg with candy and toys.

Apply a few dipped strips of tissue paper to cover the hole and poke 2 small holes through the bottom of piñata and tie ribbon through.

Tie the ribbon to make a loop.

Hang the balloon from the ceiling or a tree limb with the ribbon and have fun smacking it with a stick to burst the candy and toys out.

You will need the following items for this project:
2 Cups of flour, 3 cups of warm water
1 large balloon
Scissors
Crayons
Markers
Tissue Paper
Stickers
String
Newspaper
Ribbon
Glitter
